A number of you posted congratulations on our CityMad message board which was very well received.
I've never been so nervous watching a game and even with 10 minutes to go thought 'nah, the Boro will start to play now'.
In truth, our success yesterday was not based on a rearguard action like Barnsley or Portsmouth but by us playing proper football. And being given the space in which to play which we don't get in the Championship where only us and WBA can play.
We are a very good football side capable of, it must be said, outclassing most on our day. and our day was yesterday.
Good luck for the rest of the season - I've always liked Southgate who's uniquely not a former England old boy block of wood manager too.
And thanks for the individual courtesies shown to our fans yesterday which some have posted on our board.
Unbelievably we know we can win the bloody FA Cup, a competition we were 66-1 to win last Thursday. If we do the FA will poop themselves over a European entry though.
